ALOPECURUS borealis subsp. glaucus - Spreading blue-grey tufty alpine grass for moist conditions in sun or light shade. Flowers June to August.
ALOPECURUS pratensis 'Aureovariegatus' - A beautiful yellow/green variegated grass with cylindrical flower spikes in mid-summer. Seems happiest in light shade and can be cut back in July for fresh new growth.
ANEMANTHELE lessoniana - Formerly Stipa arundunacea. Leaves have rusty orange tints. Arching stems with clouds of tiny purple flowers. For well drained soil in full sun.
ARRHENATHERUM elatius subsp. bulbosum 'Variegatum' - Light green leaves with pure white margins. Cut back in midsummer for fresh new growth. Moist soil in light shade.
